I have spent 10 seasons at FC Barcelona as a Coach, EMEA Technical Coordinator, and U18 Methodological Coordinator in the Methodology Department. I am a UEFA Pro Coach and hold a PhD in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences.
Role
- Methodological lead for FC Barcelona’s Youth Football (Juvenil U19s and Cadete U16s) teams.
- Methodological lead for FC Barcelona’s Youth Football (Infantil U14s and Alevín U12s) teams.
Responsibilities
- Development and refinement of FC Barcelona’s game philosophy.
- Development and implementation of the specific methodological proposal for FC Barcelona teams.
- Technical-tactical training and advice for FC Barcelona’s male and female team coaches.
- Pedagogical training and advice for FC Barcelona’s male and female team coaches.
- Supervision and analysis of training sessions and matches for FC Barcelona teams at each stage.
Technical Coordinator
Role
- Methodological lead for Barça Academies in Europe – Middle East – Africa (EMEA).
Responsibilities
- Technical-tactical training and advice for the Local Project Directors of BARÇA Academies, as well as specific training for local coaches.
- Analysis of the implementation of the methodological proposal and training sessions conducted at BARÇA Academies.
- International technical visits to Local Project Directors and Partners of each BARÇA Academy to ensure the quality criteria established by FC Barcelona.
- Recruitment and technical training of coaches at BARÇA Escola to become Local Project Directors at a BARÇA Academy.
