Improve your team’s performance with Locational Play

Locational Play is a tactical evolution of positional play, where players organize themselves around the ball while performing the collective functions of the 3R: Redistribution, Relocation, and Recovery.

Unlike rigid game models, this game idea allows players to adapt dynamically to each situation while maintaining an effective collective organization.

Our online coaching education program is made up of three courses: Locational Play, Team Training, and Player Training.

Each course is divided into four or five modules, and together they form a complete learning pathway that allows coaches to understand the game idea, learn how to train it, and develop players according to this tactical methodology.

Training Positional Play—or its evolution, Locational Play—requires a methodology based on the design of Preferential Simulation Situations (PSS), following the principles of Paco Seirul·lo: specific and massed, with variability and continuity.

These PSSs are designed to enhance players’ motor communication and replicate real game situations. We explain this in detail in our online courses and coaching mentorship programs.

We provide personalized coaching mentoring for coaches who want to implement Locational Play and its training methodology, analysing team performance and proposing practical strategies to enhance both individual and collective development.

For clubs, we also offer strategic guidance and organizational optimization aligned with the game idea. A complete action plan with achievable objectives and measurable results through performance KPIs.

For players, we apply a methodology developed during our time at FC Barcelona to improve decision-making and game understanding.

Our methodology is based on Locational Play and on the experience gained at FC Barcelona, working closely with Paco Seirul·lo, Isaac Guerrero and Jordi Fernández Lie.

We have also contributed to FC Barcelona programs such as the Professional Football Master’s degree and the FC Barcelona Coach Academy online course, and the Higher University Course in Methodology from the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).
